As founder and chief designer of Holtzundmetal Peter Wehrspann designs original, functional, and beautiful furniture. Peter is a skilled designer, metal artist and woodworker. After graduating from Sheridan College he had the privilege of continuing his studies overseas at Danmark Design Skole, Copenhagen. Currently, Peter is researching his thesis for his Masters in Industrial Design.
Born in Toronto, he has been able to widen his perspective by traveling and living abroad in Japan, Switzerland, and Denmark. Peter is an award-winning designer that has showcased internationally. He believes good design enhances our daily lives physically and psychologically. His work is guided by the search for simple beauty and function. His eye for aesthetics and his abilities as an engineer allow him to marry disparate materials with ease and grace. With a simple and intelligent approach Peter is dedicated to consistently contribute good design to a select market.
