Michael Iannone has been designing and building furniture for over 6 years, and has worked for two years as a luthier crafting custom solid body electric guitars.
Iannone’s furniture uses a variety of materials chosen for their intrinsic beauty and eco-friendly properties. These include FSC plywoods and formaldehyde free plywoods, locally sourced lumber from managed forests and sustainable materials such as bamboo and sorghum borard.
How is it green?
Uses formaldehyde free bamboo plywood.
The night stand is constructed with no added formaldehyde adhesive maple plywood that has been certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), denoting that it comes from well-managed, sustainable forests. This material is finished with a durable low VOC topcoat.
Drawer fronts are made with locally sourced hardwoods.
Finished with a combination of waterbased shellac and low VOC waterbased topcoats. Also available with an all natural oil finish free of solvents and toxic ingredients.
